Music Fundraiser "Unplugged at the Paramount"

Four of Texas' finest singer-songwriters will share the stage at the Paramount Theatre to kick off festivities for the 2010 Austin Marathon weekend. Texas troubadour Joe Ely, honky-tonk hero Billy Joe Shaver, Americana favorite Slaid Cleaves and rising star Amy Cook will perform in an acoustic "guitar pull" format at this benefit for the Livestrong Foundation and the historic Paramount Theatre.

There will be a silent auction featuring yellow Nike caps commemorating Lance Armstrong's Tour de France victories autographed by sports stars and celebrities like cycling great Eddy Merckx, baseball legend Nolan Ryan, golfer Ben Crenshaw and many others.
